Welcome to the eighth annual Elder Care Facilities Tour, an award-winning, one-of-a-kind event in Central Kentucky sponsored by Lexington Family Magazine.
Aging can be a difficult issue for everyone in the family to face, especially when a loved one is no longer able to live alone.
The Tour is designed to help families address these issues before a crisis hits. This is your chance to be prepared.
On Sunday, Nov. 2, from 1:30-5 p.m., participating elder care facilities in Central Kentucky will host free, open houses.
The open houses are designed to let older adults, their adult children and other caregivers educate themselves about elder care housing options in a relaxed, unpressured atmosphere.
In fact, most of the facilities roll out the red carpet and create a festive atmosphere for visitors.
Visit as many elder care facilities as interest you. And bring someone you love.

1. The Lafayette Retirement
