The Children’s Vision and Learning Center’s Dr. Rick Graebe will be teaching parents, teachers, professionals and counselors how to determine whether a child has Attention Deficit Disorder or has visual limitations at a seminar on Monday, July, 14, 6-7 p.m. Today in the U.S. more and more children are diagnosed with A.D.D. while in other countries the disorder is rare. This makes many people wonder if A.D.D. has the same symptoms as something such as visual limitations. Vision problems make it difficult for children to concentrate on near-vision tasks such as writing, reading, math and computers. Dr. Graebe will offer tests and checklists to help determine if a child has A.D.D. or visual limitations. Your child may be misdiagnosed and therefore medicated unnecessarily. The seminar is at 105 Crossfield Drive in Versailles. Info: 879-0089 or e-mail at VIPCVLC@gmail.com.
