Disney on Ice Features ‘Toy Story 3’ at Rupp Arena

Disney On Ice’s “Toy Story 3” is skating into Lexington.

Based on the Academy Award Winning movie, “Disney On Ice’s Toy Story 3” will have eight showings at Rupp Arena from April 19 to 22 with one show Thursday, two shows Friday and Sunday, and three shows on Saturday.

The production will follow Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang as they escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare. New cast members such as groovy bachelor Ken and Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear will be there, too.

Buzz’s galactic battle with Emperor Zurg, a hoe-down on the set of “Woody’s Roundup,” and memorable moments from Toy Story 1 and 2 also will be featured in this adventurous journey for the whole family.
