Y Offers Free Membership To Big Brothers Big Sisters

YMCA of the Bluegrass is offering free member-ships to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.

The memberships will be usable at any local YMCA. With 415 current brother and sister matches and a waiting list of 283, the Y could give close to 700 free memberships in the community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass said the organization is “very excited and encouraged to have the opportunity to partner with an outstanding community-based organization like the YMCA,” President and CEO Eric Ward said.

This cooperation will further the Y’s goal of strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
