KET Program looks at Kentucky’s History of Breastfeeding
Set your alarms or your DVRs, Moms! Tomorrow evening “Connections” on KET will air a program discussing “The Benefits of Breastfeeding.” A group of Kentucky experts will share their knowledge about the importance of breastfeeding and why Kentucky ranks 48th in the nation for breastfeeding.
Panelists included Cerise Bouchard, President of the Lactation Improvement Network of KY and owner of Lexington’s Mother Nurture store; Jan Johnson, RD, IBCLC of the Pike County Health Department; and Doraine Bailey, MA, IBCLC of the Lexington-Fayette Co. Health Dept.
The program will air Friday at 5 p.m. on KET2 and again on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. on KET.
