LCT Auditions for ‘Lion, Witch & Wardrobe’

Lexington Children’s Theatre will hold open auditions for “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.” Based on the classic children’s book by C.S. Lewis, the show follows four siblings escaping war-torn 1940’s London who find a magical world by stepping through an old wardrobe. The theatrical depiction explores right and wrong, good and bad and puts loyalty to the test.

Audition sessions are scheduled for Sept. 15 from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.; Sept. 16 from 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; and Sept. 18 from 7-9 p.m. Auditions are by appointment only, and auditioners must be able to stay for the entire two-hour session.

LCT is looking for at least three dozen cast members of varying ages and skill. Roles are open for ages 9 to 99. Auditioners must turn 9 before Sept. 15 to be eligible to audition.

LCT is located at 418 W. Short Street. The show will be performed at the Lexington Opera House.
