Beauty & the Beast, Mamma Mia At EKU Center for Arts
The Eastern Kentucky University Center for the Arts invites you to “be their guest” for the production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” on Saturday, March 8.
This Broadway musical hit is the classic story of Belle, a young woman living in a provincial town who ends up trapped in a castle with the Beast.
The Beast, who is actually a young prince trapped by an enchantress’ spell, must learn to love and be loved in return. If he does this, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out.
Come witness the romantic and magical tale and its unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes and dazzling musical numbers. Performances are at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $35.50.
The Center also will feature the world-wide hit, “Mamma Mia,” which comes to the EKU Center on Saturday and Sunday, March 22 and 23. Show times are 3 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday.
