Build a Better Birth It’s All About Options in Maternity
By Katie Saltz
This past year I went from being the mother of one, to the mother of two. Even though both my children were born in Lexington, the two experiences were as different as night and day.
I used different care providers, different hospitals, and had many changes in my birth plan. Changing things up allowed me to have a much more positive birth this time around.
What I love about producing Baby Bump is that it empowers moms to discover their options, even if it means changing your mind. Whether you are a first, second, or seventh-time mom, you have choices at your disposal.
This year, we’ve written about what acupuncture can do for pregnancy, how placenta encapsulation works, recipes for those “super-foods,” and quirky baby names straight from Hollywood.
Check out the Resource Guide in the back of this issue. We give you contact information for care providers, baby stores, fitness classes, support groups, and much more.
At Baby Bump, we celebrate how every pregnancy is unique and encourage you to create a birth plan tailor-made to you. Because pregnancy is not a “one size fits all” experience.
