Annual Summer Camp Fair Set for Saturday, April 9

It’s hard to picture the warm, sunny days of summer fun during the dreary cold of February. But Lexington Family is keeping those winter blues at bay by planning our annual summer camp fair. We want your kids to have an amazing summer, and this event is the place to start.

Lexington Family Magazine’s 14th annual Summer Camps & Activities Fair will take place on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Fair will again be in the gymnasiums at Lexington Christian Academy at 450 W. Reynolds Road.

The Fair is the perfect blend of info and entertainment for the whole family. Mom and Dad can check out more than 90 booths with all sorts of camps, classes, and activities for most any age group, plus booths by health care professionals, dentists, private schools, birthday parties, enrichment classes and academic help.

While the parents gather their info, kids can jump on giant inflatables, play games, do hands-on crafts and experiments, have their faces painted and enter to win dozens of prizes. Live performances by dancers, martial artists and other local talent take place throughout the day.

Make sure your child brings their best smile for the annual Cover Model Contest. Get your kids’ photos taken for free by a professional photographer, and you may find your child on the cover of Lexington Family Magazine.

The Fair is FREE and open to everyone. So whether your child is interested in ballet, sports, science or the outdoors, the Camp Fair is your one-stop shop for summer fun.
