Scholar Athletes Honored
Nine Scholar Athletes for 2015-16 were honored in May at an awards banquet at Kentucky Utilities, sponsor of the Scholar Athlete feature in Lexington Family Magazine.

Emma Young, Will Newton Share Scholarship Award
John Lynch, Cliff Feltham and Lisa Pulliam flank winners Emma Young of East Jessamine and Will Newtown of Sayre, who were chosen at random at the awards ceremony and will split $3,000 in scholarship money.
The scholarship was provided by Mike Pulliam, a Rector Hayden Realtor and instructor at Man O’War Golf, and other contributors PBI Bank, Howard Smith of Smith Garage Equipment, Barry and Mike Barrett of Auto Excel, local accountant Kenny Frank and Dairy Queen franchise owner Paul Wright.
