LCT Scheduling Auditions for ‘Frankenstein’

The Lexington Children’s Theatre has scheduled auditions for ages 8-18 for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Aug. 27-29 for its upcoming play, “Frankenstein.”

Auditions are by appointment only and will be 1-3 p.m. and 4- 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 7-9 p.m. on Monday at 418 W. Short St.

The show is a flashback to a time when machines and monsters were on Victor Frankenstein’s mind. Flash forward and Victor is face-to-face with a monster. Will the thing he creates by the very thing that causes his undoing?

Performances will take place at LCT’s Learning Stage, Oct. 23-Nov. 2

To schedule an audition time, call (859) 254-4546, ext 310. When you arrive at the theatre, go to the check-in desk and turn in your audition packet (provided to you after you arrange your appointment) and have your picture taken (don’t forget to bring $1 to pay for the picture).

During the audition, you may play some improvisational games and/or you may be asked to read from the script.
