Lex. Clinic to Sponsor March for Babies
For the fourth time, Lexington Clinic is sponsoring the annual March for Babies as part of the March of Dimes charitable organization.
The event is scheduled for Keeneland on Sunday, May 21 with registration starting at 1:30 p.m. and the 3-mile walk at 2:30.
March for Babies is an annual event that helps raise money to support community families with babies who require NICU treatment and connecting them with the critical care they need.
This year’s event is sponsored by Lexington Clinic Pediatrics and Obstetrics-Gynecology.
“March for Babies is a great event that helps thousands of kids right here in our area,” Lexington Clinic Pediatrician Dr. Kyle Childers said. “We are proud to be a part of this great team.”
The money also goes to research that creates advancements in prenatal and postpartum care that benefits babies and families.
Lexington Clinic was founded in 1920 and is Central Kentucky’s oldest and largest group practice. Lexington Clinic has nearly 200 providers and serves more than 600,000.
