Touch-a-Truck: Fundraiser For Child Development Center

Touch-A-Truck, a fundraiser for the Child Development Center of the Bluegrass, offers an opportunity for families to climb on, climb in, see, touch and explore construction, emergency and service vehicles of all sizes in a fun and safe environment.

The event is Sunday, Aug. 27, 1-5 p.m. at Keeneland.

The eighth annual Touch-A-Truck event also includes special performances, face painting, inflatables, games, a silent auction and a chance to meet local mascots.

Food trucks will be on site.

Cost is $20 per vehicle with up to seven people.

The Child Development Center of the Bluegrass provides early intervention and therapy services as well as full-day and part-day programs for children with and without disabilities.

All funds raised at this event are used to directly impact the services offered to children with and without special needs.
