Christian Academy of the Bluegrass Moves to Church in Georgetown
The Christian Academy of the Bluegrass is very happy to announce that it has moved from its Lexington location to the Scott County Church of Christ in Georgetown.
Eventually, CAB, a small, Christian school entering its third school year, plans to buy land and erect its own building.
Located in the countryside of Georgetown, the new location at 1776 Cincinnati Road off I-75 offers improved classroom space and more opportunities for outdoor activities and adventures. The grounds include a basketball court, plethora of green space, playground and a supportive environment.
Roughly half of CAB’s students hail from the Scott County area.
Members of CAB Board of Directors are grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm the Scott County Church of Christ has shown the school. CAB is welcome to operate at the church indefinitely, according to Donia Simmons, marketing chair and CAB board member whose daughter attends the school.
“The church has been very active and is excited about the school,” she said. “They have been a super big help. We are also excited about the new location.”
