Discover Summer at the Living Arts & Science Center
Summer 2020 at the Living Arts & Science Center is shaping up to be the most exciting summer yet.
Watch creativity grow with nine, week-long, summer camps for students from preschool to high-school at the LASC. Students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of classes with full-day and half-day schedules available and morning and afternoon extended care hours. Lunch period is included for full-day students, (bring your own lunch.) Free time is provided outdoors when weather permits.
Join Ms. Debbie on an Antarctic adventure. The Lead Discovery Educator will share her journey to the coldest continent on earth and teach students all about the largest terrestrial animal in Antarctica- the Antarctic midge.
Looking for something to get your heart rate going? Join Ms. Ashlee as she teaches how professional actors create safe fight scenes on stage. Students will have the chance to choreograph their own light saber battle.
If your child wants to unleash their inner artist, let the LASC staff of talented educators guide them through paintings, sculptures, digital paintings and more.
The LASC believes that people of all ages deserve accessible opportunities to learn and to be creative. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow, the LASC has scholarships available. To apply for a scholarship, fill out the application at LASCLEX.ORG
Applications for June classes due April 6 and July/August classes are due May 4.
