Our mission is to be a forum for ideas, opinions, and issues that affect the families of Central Kentucky. On our site we give voice to those important messages, and we celebrate the lives of families in our community. Every day we deliver information on family events, plus informative and reader friendly feature stories on topics such as childcare, education, raising a family, health and maternity issues.
MEET THE EDITORIAL TEAM
John Lynch
EDITOR
John Lynch is the founder and owner of Lexington Family Magazine. He has been a journalist for more than 30 years and also taught the subject at the university level for 20 years. John and his wife Dana Tackett are the parents of one adult son, Jack.
Katie Saltz
DEPUTY EDITOR
Katie has been with Lexington Family Magazine since 2010, serving as Deputy Editor since 2016. She is a University of Kentucky graduate. Katie and her husband are parents to three children, ages 2, 4 and 9.
