Four years of writing about babies, toddlers and parents has been like therapy. We refer to my column as my “rants” because they so often revolve around me complaining, whining or ruminating over the less glamorous parts of parenthood.
Man cannot survive on peanut butter and jelly alone. At least that’s what I thought until my daughter was old enough for non-pureed food.
Around my daughter’s fourth birthday, the topic of tablets came up as a gift idea. It was a generous offer by those involved, but my husband and I are united on this front – No major electronic purchases for the kiddo.
By the time this column prints, my daughter will have turned 4 years old.
